So exciting and at the same time nerve wracking to announce that everyone’s votes have pushed me into the top 25 blogs for the Americas global region. If I remain in this position I advance to the finals. While an incredible achievement I am still not a lock to make it. There is still lots of competition between now and Monday’s deadline. How about an FAQ? Who you are…where you are from….what you do for a living….where you want to go….Why you want to do this?
Hello Nicole, thanks for your interest. You’re absolutely right, I do need to explain more about myself. I will be doing that soon. I checked out your blog and strangely enough it turns out we are both originally from Northern New Jersey. I was raised in Montclair and went to high school in Newark. I hope that’s a good start towards shedding some the mystery around me, haha.
Name is actually Mandy, and I´m a friend of your brother Andy. I NEVER take part in those vote for my whatever, things on facebook, but I love the whole idea. Hell, I´d do it myself if I could. I´m also from Montclair (how I know Andy). I went to MHS. But, a FAQ might get you more votes! I threw your info on my blog also, and if I checked my stats, I could tell you how many (or if any) people clicked. Hope I got you a few votes! I want to live vicariously. What a GREAT contest!!!!!!!
Hey Mandy, sorry about the name mishap. So then I guess it’s no coincidence that we’re both from New Jersey, haha. Cool that you know my brother. Thanks for the putting my info on your blog and I fully support your living vicariously through my participation in the Big Blog Exchange competition. I’m currently in the finals with the number of votes I have and sitting pretty. Here’s hoping I remain there through the deadline on Monday, but I’m feeling pretty confident. Now if only I can convince the judges to pick me at that point. Perhaps a FAQ would help 😉
